Our journey began in 1981, with our entry into the shipping industry. What started as a single venture gradually evolved into a diversified group of businesses built on experience, perseverance, and long-term vision.
Over the years, we had the privilege of acquiring a significant share in Bengal Friends & Company, widely recognized as “Jahaj Marka Alkatra” marking another important chapter in our journey.
Our commitment to serving people also led us into the transportation sector. We established Comfort Line, a passenger bus service connecting Dhaka with Gopalganj, and have recently expanded our network to Khulna, strengthening our connection with communities across the country.
Our portfolio also includes a petrol station in the Kallyanpur area of Dhaka, continuing our commitment to providing essential services to the communities we operate in.
Today, we are taking our next step forward in Real Estate Development through Comfort Development Limited. With this venture, we are bringing the same principles that have shaped Comfort Group over the years — quality, integrity, responsibility, and a long-term commitment to excellence; into the places where people live and build their futures.

01. Spark Farms
At Spark Farms, we are returning to one of our oldest areas of expertise: agriculture and fish farming.
Building on decades of experience, we combine traditional knowledge with modern aquaculture technology for high-quality Tilapia production—from water aeration to high-grade hatchery practices.
The goal is simple: healthier fish, better production, and consistently high-quality food for the local market.
We are also scaling our dairy operations to supply fresh, unadulterated milk and dairy products.
02. Jolashoy
Jolashoy is our most ambitious venture in hospitality and agriculture—a bold initiative to bring genuine farm-to-table dining to Bangladesh.
Located in southern Gopalganj, guests enjoy vegetables harvested from our own soil, freshly caught fish, and modern cuisine amidst regional wetland landscapes.

03. The Indie Room
Talent needs the right environment to flourish. We identified a pressing need for professionally curated, accessible spaces where creators can focus and build.
